Production of inorganic fertilizer involves both chemical and manufacturing processes which result in dry granular, liquefied and gaseous products. The dry chemical processes include the creation of compounds that are blended into granular carrier components for ease of distribution in agriculture. This process involves prill creation in spray driers or compounding with liquid ad mixtures in rotary driers or mills. The resulting products can be corrosive and require alloy construction.
