Oxidizers are systems which specialize in the destruction of volatile organic compounds. Current systems involve sophisticated controls along with environmental and safety considerations. Oxidizer techniques usually involve heat recovery schemes. Thermal oxidizers using regenerative catalytic technology and direct-fired destruction, with concurrent heat exchangers, give back energy after incineration. The incinerator design can require forced draft (cold) fans or induced draft (hot) fans. With either scheme, NYB produces many heavy-duty designs of incinerator fans.
