Background:
PerfectSwell® Surf Technology, invented, developed and manufactured by American Wave Machines (AWM), provides world class waves to surf parks around the world. Known for its unmatched wave quality and backed by proven financials, PerfectSwell® is the world’s premier sequence based, pneumatic surf technology protected by over 50 patents worldwide.
Application:
AWM utilizes New York Blower HP Pressure Blower fans under an OEM partnership in their system to feed air into a closed plenum to build pressure. That pressure is then released through a system of valves which ultimately creates consecutive waves that vary in speed, size, and shape depending on the valve combination. Similar to car wash applications, these fans need to be capable of accelerating several times per wave series. These units require special material construction and extensive testing and quality to suit each installation for AWM.
