Odor Control
Capture and control of odors is accomplished by creating air movement. Every type of fan design can be used to move air through odor-absorber scrubbers. The fans can be installed on the clean side of the capture device which calls for nyb Junior, General Purpose and AcF/PLR/BC designs. Foul air fans for capture devices would require the same designs with shaft seals to prevent odor leakage. The capture devices can be designed for continuous operation or shut down regularly for cleaning. Occasionally, the air is corrosive or contains gases that require special construction to resist wear. nyb makes a wide variety of fans in many materials for use in odor control applications.
