Dryers
The simplest dryers are batch type that are used to reduce moisture level in a product. Recirculating fans supply heated air to the pans of a product in the dryer. Large rooms with bi-directional fans to reverse airflow during the long, slow curing cycle can be used to cure entire rooms of stacked product. Larger continuous processing dryers include rotary drum type and spray dryers where a wet product is tumbled or sprayed into a vessel of hot air. Mean temperature and moisture conditions in the dryer are controlled by the forced and induced draft fans. Building product and paper industry dryers are continuous flow at very high speeds with fans used to supply heated air to the conveyor rolls. nyb makes products to satisfy all of these requirements.
